By the grace of Christ
It is a church that is close to its members.
God is always with us.

About Us
CHURCH
You may find the name a bit strange, but it is a traditional Christian (Protestant) denomination (group of churches) that recently celebrated its 70th anniversary.
"Immanuel" is an ancient spelling of Immanuel, meaning "God is with us."
The name "Sogo Dendōdan" (Comprehensive Mission) was given to the church because it was established with the aim of comprehensive evangelism, including not only missionary work but also medical care, education, and agriculture. There are 113 churches throughout Japan. It is sometimes written as "Immanuel General Mission" or "IGM."
We hold worship services every Sunday. Please feel free to come and join us.

About the Pastor
Pastor
My name is Takashi Imai, and I am the senior pastor.
It has been more than three years since I took over from my predecessor, Pastor Kaneshiro.
I am happy to be transferred from a church in Osaka to Okinawa, where I was born and raised.
We at Immanuel Naha Christian Church are grateful to have been loved by the Matsukawa neighborhood of Naha City and have survived to this day.
Our worship service every Sunday at 10:30am gives you fresh energy to start your week.
First-time visitors are also welcome.
In the Sunday School that is held in parallel with worship services, we aim to develop the characters of children based on Bible education so that they will grow into healthy adults.
Churches may seem like a very formal place, but why not take a look inside first?
Everyone is welcome.
